Calvin author shares adventure, unlikely friendships in riveting new fantasy book
CALVIN, Ky. — Author Penelope Jenna Hensley announces the nationwide release of her new book, “The Trail of Deeds: Revenge and Supremacy.” This gripping novel is set to be released this week.
“The Trail of Deeds” is set in a post-humanity realm, where wolves reign supreme over a land of nature-oriented kingdoms. Three differently minded characters — Sima, Jerika and Oben — find their places and continue to redefine themselves while learning important principles along the way. Follow them in their quest for enlightenment in “The Trail of Deeds.”
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Hensley has begun writing at the age of 7 and has known it was her passion ever since. Nature has always been the point of interest in her stories — with her focus ranging throughout all types of animals. She was inspired to write the first novel, “The Trail of Deeds,” when she was 10 years old, completing it four years later in October, 2015. Hensley placed ninth in the 2014 Kentucky State Spelling Bee and has since participated in the Governor’s Cup academic competition at state level. She lives in Calvin, Kentucky, with her family.
