Gheens author to thrill readers in new psychological novel
GHEENS, La. — This week marks the nationwide release of author Carrie Delatte’s suspense-filled, new novel, “Vidalia.”
With a history of erratic sleeping behavior, Tess Durrum is traveling down a slippery slope when her “night episodes” return with a vengeance in “Vidalia.” Finding solace in the counsel of her husband, board certified psychiatrist, Christopher, she leans on her long-time love for his guidance, strength and watchful eye. As their community lives in the wake of a string of brutal murders, the couple becomes a fixation for FBI Agent John Colton. The only constant amidst all the chaos is Vidalia, the vessel that will either give her sanctuary or have her sinking with the ship.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Delatte is a Louisiana native, raising her family in a quaint town off of Bayou Lafourche. The mother of four is a firm believer in the power of faith and the strength of family. She donates 10 percent of proceeds from each title she releases to the Tourette’s Association of America and takes great pride in her TS advocacy program.
