Lee Summit author’s new Christian book highlights God’s love, his pursuit of man
LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — This week marks the nationwide release of “Who’s Pursuing Who: Tag You’re It,” author Mark Cunningham’s thought-provoking, new Christian book.
Do you ever remember playing tag with your older siblings and felt that you were chasing them, only to have them turn toward you and begin to chase you instead? What about the young man who was pursuing the “love of his life” only to find out later that she was playing hard-to-get and she was actually the one pursuing him?
In “Who’s Pursuing Who,” Cunningham depicts how the “hunter becomes the hunted.” The stories of Zacchaeus, David, Saul, Jairus, Nicodemus and many others throughout the Scriptures are examples of those who pursued God, or did they? Look closer and discover that God is passionate and zealous in his love for people and that he is “hot on our trail,” never giving up until he has captured their hearts. Perhaps, people are the ones who are chasing after God’s heart? Either way, let the pursuit begin in “Who’s Pursuing Who!”
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Cunningham, who is based in Missouri, is a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God, and he and his wife, Linda, have been senior pastor, youth pastor, and children’s director. The author holds a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies and continues to speak at a variety of churches.
