Cadyville author crafts adorable tale about vehicles in new children’s book

CADYVILLE, N.Y. — Transportation vehicles come to life in “Puttersville,” a fun-filled, new children’s book by author Nancy Rumney. This entertaining storybook will be released nationwide this week.

Imagine being 5 years old and your mother creates characters just for you — characters with their own stories to tell. In this book, Puttersville is that story!

In “Puttersville,” Rumney takes readers on an enjoyable ride in Puttersville, a town of vehicles, which have personalities and jobs to do. Children, who can easily relate to the characters of “Puttersville,” are encouraged to join the author as she goes through this different kind of joy ride through the pages of this endearing and fun storybook.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Being a single parent and faced with the daunting task of raising two sons, Rumney has to think of different ways to keep her sons interested. One of these ways is to create special characters with their own stories just for them. It worked, and it inspired her to write her latest storybook. Rumney is currently based in Cadyville, New York.
