Edinburg author discourages bullying through new children’s book
EDINBURG, Texas — Young readers will learn a thing or two about bullying in “Buddy Meets Lola,” a values-oriented, new children’s book by author Marisela Rodriguez.
In “Buddy Meets Lola,” Buddy no longer gets to play with Violet every day as before. The decision is made to get him a friend. Things don’t turn out as easy as Violet thought when Lola turns out to be a big bully.
