Merrick author warns Christians about gossip’s threat to church building in thought-provoking new book
MERRICK, N.Y. — This week marks the nationwide release of “Gossip: The Church Killer,” an eye-opening new book by author Marc J. Grimaldi.
“Gossip: The Church Killer” points out that one of the most deadly and overlooked sins, which often threatens the unity and preservation of the church, is gossip. Like a tiny spark that causes and spreads wildfires, gossip divides and kills churches. What makes matters worse is that gossip is a sin, which is not too far from each one of us. It often cloaks itself in prayer requests and good intentions, while subtly creating havoc in the local church.
In “Gossip: The Church Killer,” Grimaldi has provided us with a short and to the point discourse on the treacherous nature of gossip along with the critical tools which all church members ought to utilize to put this venomous asp to death. Every church member would do good to read this short work.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Grimaldi has been a pastor at Grace Reformed Baptist Church of Long Island, New York, for the past 10 years. He is married to his lovely wife, Julieanne, for over 12 years; and they have seven children.
