Kids join young coyotes in wild adventure in Grove author’s new book
GROVE, Okla. — Author Christine Burt takes her young readers into an adventure in the wild in “Magical Cave Guardians, the Tale of Two Coyotes,” a fun-filled children’s book that is set for nationwide release this week.
In “Magical Cave Guardians, the Tale of Two Coyotes,” Cassie and Chase, two coyote pups, fell into the dark and magical cave while playing outside one morning. Being lost and afraid, the pups were able to overcome their fears and navigate through the cave with the help of two strange new friends and the light of the fireflies.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Burt and her husband — along with their horses, dog, cats and chickens — live in northeast Oklahoma. Their home is nestled in an enchanted valley with a creek running alongside the bluff. The creek is a favorite watering hole for all of the animals. Old Indian encampments and burial grounds are also said to be in the valley. This magical place has a lot of stories to share with their kids and grandkids.
