Boltersdorf is the father of four and grandfather of five. He read stories to his children every night when they were growing up and continues that tradition with his grandchildren. The author, who is a passionate reader since childhood, expanded this passion into writing poetry in his teen years. He later broadened his horizons to include short stories and music lyrics as well as fiction and nonfiction papers and books. His interest in writing children’s stories began while listening to his wife spin yarns to entertain and to delight their children. Boltersdorf currently has several other children’s books in the works for production and publication. He is currently based in Woodbridge, Virginia.
