Chicago author’s new memoir speaks of love against all odds
CHICAGO — Author Mary Alice Tomaszewski announces the nationwide release of her captivating new biography, “The Battles That Built Us: A Memoir of Love That Survived the Odds.”
How do you find your soul mate? Is there such a thing? How do you know he or she is the one when you do meet? How do you make it last when you find each other?
These are many questions so many people ask themselves; but for the author, she never had to ask herself these questions because when she met him some 52 years ago, she never expected to be his girlfriend — let alone his wife for 44 years.
“The Battles That Built Us” shares Tomaszewski’s journey through love and life and how she found the man whom she would call her soul mate.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Tomaszewski had never written a book before, but as a widow, she felt closer to the man she refers to as her soul mate with each word she wrote, hoping that this may inspire others to do the same. The author is currently based in Chicago, Illinois.
