KERRVILLE, Texas — Author Marilyne Cizmich pens another exciting journey of the brave cat, Sonia, in “Sonia’s Train Adventure.” This entertaining new children’s book is up for nationwide release this week.

In “Sonia’s Train Adventure,” the 10-hour train ride from Kherson to Kiev is more than an experience for Grandmother Olena and her cat, Sonia. During the night, when everyone was sleeping, crime was stalking the aisles of the train. Sonia proves herself invaluable in this third book of Sonia’s thrilling adventures.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Cizmich lived in Kherson and traveled by train in Ukraine during her sabbatical year from her job as a school nurse. She has incorporated various experiences and stories of others’ train trips in this third book in the series. She and her husband live in Texas with Nancy and Indy, their cats. Along with writing books and freelancing on the web, Cizmich designs and sells denim dog clothes made from recycled jeans.
