Hugo author shares blessed experience of speaking in tongues in enlightening new Christian book
HUGO, Okla. — Author William A. Broom announces the nationwide release of his new book, “Psalms of the Spirit: The Life of God in Me.”
In “Psalms of the Spirit,” Broom reveals how he began speaking in Psalms in 1970. The Spirit gave the utterance, usually in his private prayer time, while he was praising and glorifying God. At a given time, the Holy Ghost spoke to Broom to start writing them down. As he did, books began to develop, with the “Psalms of the Spirit” being the first one. The purpose of these books is to bring the unsaved to Jesus Christ and to encourage Christians to serve God more fervently.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
After a life of heavy drinking, heavy smoking and various petty criminal activities, Broom finally asked the Lord Jesus Christ to come into his heart and life and became a born-again Christian at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Oklahoma. He was instantly delivered from alcohol. One year later, he was instantly delivered from cigarettes and was baptized in the Holy Ghost with outward, initial, physical evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance — not gibberish or baby talk as some think. The Bible describes this experience as speaking with tongues of men and angels. Speaking in tongues is simply speaking in a language that can’t be learned by natural means.
