Mocksville author crafts fun adventure with loveable forest animals in new storybook

MOCKSVILLE, N.C. — Author Linda Greene Dean announces the nationwide hardback release of her fun-filled new children’s book, “Wally Rooster’s Bubble Bath: A Blackberry Lane Book.”

Did something happen in the forest that made Mom say, “Wally, you’re getting a bubble bath!”?

Dean, who lives in Mocksville, North Carolina, with her husband, Jim, gained inspiration for “The Blackberry Lane” books from true stories of actual animals that live on Blackberry Lane and their daily interactions with the Dean family and with other animals in the forest. The author and her husband have a family of four children and seven grandchildren, along with many pets and animal friends.
