Lynnwood author spins charming fable with fun rhymes in values-filled children’s fiction
LYNNWOOD, Wash. — This week marks the nationwide hardback release of “The Beast With the Least,” an endearing and lesson-filled new children’s book by author Kristine Vannoy.
In this hardback edition of “The Beast With the Least,” young readers will learn the value of understanding the misunderstood and finding friends in bizarre situations.
In “The Beast With the Least,” it’s dinnertime as usual in the small town of Rhyme until a big, hairy beast shows up with an even bigger hunger. Find out how dinnertime is saved in this rhyming tale of friendship and acceptance from the unlikeliest of heroes — the children!
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Vannoy grew up reading Dr. Seuss books. For her, rhyming and wordplay were a natural part of everyday story time. Vannoy, who holds bachelor’s degree in communications and raises children of her own, was inspired to write this story after a fun day of wordplay with her kids. She is based in Lynnwood, Washington.
