Farr is a certified lay speaker, who leads small group discussions, serves as a chaplain for a local high school football team and supports the Fellowship of Christian Athletes in the metro Atlanta area. Being the youth sports ministry coordinator at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Farr has founded the Mt. Zion UMC Hoops2Heaven ministry and has been involved as a director and coach since 1989. As an author, he has published eight “Final Score!” sports devotion books.
Farr and his wife, Becca, live in Marietta, Georgia. They have two daughters, Jillian and Allison, and a son-in-law, Kevin.
