Rider, who was born and raised in Southern California, has excelled academically since her childhood, having an aptitude score of beyond a college level student in reading, writing and comprehension. Presently, Rider is a mother of two sons and three daughters. The author, who enjoys reading genres relating to poetry, reality and science fiction, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2007. Rider wouldn’t change a thing in her life as she sees these challenges as the backbone of the woman that she is today.
