Savannah author weaves unique, encouraging Christmas tale in new children’s fiction
SAVANNAH, Ga. — This week marks the nationwide release of “A Gift for All of Us: A Shepherd’s Tale,” a heartwarming new Christmas children’s book written and illustrated by Crystal Vines. This book’s hardback edition will be released in November.
“A Gift for All of Us: A Shepherd’s Tale” is a unique take on the Christmas story. This juvenile fiction helps children imagine how a shepherd might have been touched from what he saw that night. Follow Nathaniel on his journey as he is called by an angel to go and look upon the baby, Jesus. Nathaniel is so moved by the experience he must share it with others.
In “A Gift for All of Us: A Shepherd’s Tale,” children will learn the joy of sharing their testimony along with the story of Jesus’ birth.

Vines is a dedicated wife and mother to her beautiful children. When she isn’t chasing them around the house or carpooling from one place to the next, she likes to spend time creating. The author, who gains inspiration from her children for her stories, cultivates a passion for art, photography and writing. Vines, who enjoys teaching children about the Lord’s saving grace, is very involved with the children’s ministry of her church Currently, she is working on her associate degree in general studies, yet still hoping to achieve a bachelor’s degree in fine arts one day.
