San Diego author provides tips on health, parenting in hardback book
SAN DIEGO — Author Rebecca Rubens shares health tips and life advice in the hardback release of her health and wellness book, “Simply Grateful: The Ultimate Lesson of Unconditional Love.”
“Simply Grateful” is Rubens’ true powerful story of how she was guided throughout her life to accomplish her goals. In this book, the author shares her journey during her younger years and a near-death experience that has been her moment of grace since. She recommends her parenting skills, health tips and important tools that bring positive reinforcement to people who desire to excel during their lifetime.

Rubens went from being a stay-at-home mother for 10 years to going back to work in an upscale consignment boutique. She had been an owner of a hair salon and a licensed cosmetologist for 30 years. It was during this time that the author experienced a life-changing situation. Rubens, who was a member of The Women’s Christian Connection for five years, has worked as a volunteer at The San Diego Rescue mission, where she helped in raising money for military outreach Christian programs. Rubens lives in San Diego, California, with her husband, Peter, their children, Cheyenne and Ryland. She dreams of someday becoming a motivational speaker who inspires others to follow their dreams.
