Baldwin author takes trip down memory lane in hardback edition of delightful memoir
BALDWIN, Md. — Author Jim Wright announces the nationwide hardback release of his nostalgic, endearing memoir, “Penn Lucy: My Old Neighborhood Growing Up in the Forties and Early Fifties and the Way It Was.”
“Penn Lucy” is Wright’s personal account of when he was a young boy growing up in the ‘40s and early ‘50s. During this time, the author was a boy between the ages of 6 to 15, who enjoyed and learned from every bit that life had to offer back then. Today, Wright desires to share to his readers real stories, real people and real places, and what it was like growing up during that time.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Wright, who is retired, lives with his wife, Gene, in Baldwin, Maryland. He enjoys shooting pool, playing scrabble, traveling, gardening, splitting wood, playing duck pin bowling, watching classic movies, reading, writing, and spending quality time with his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and close friends.
