Knoxville author retells Nativity tale in eye-opening new children’s book
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Author Dwyn Mounger bares the truth in Jesus’ birth in the nationwide release of his new children’s book, “Elihu, Innkeeper’s Lad.” Hardback editions of the book will be up for grabs next week.
Christ’s birth may be history’s greatest event, but too often, it has been sugarcoated. In “Elihu, Innkeeper’s Lad,” Elihu’s Christmas adventure will show young readers that Jesus came into a real world — and not in a fairy tale one.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the books are available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Mounger is a pastor who often, by Christmas Eve candlelight, tells the story of Elihu to children gathered around him. He is a grandfather of four who resides in Knoxville, Tennessee.
