Spartanburg author spins motivating, lesson-filled story in new children’s book

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — Author Renee Bigsby announces the nationwide release of her new juvenile fiction, “The Sack Race.”

In “The Sack Race,” hop along with CJ and find out what caused him to suddenly exit the race and how he learned a valuable lesson in disobedience. This children’s read will show young readers how CJ learns that being themselves is the best way to impress someone.

Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.

Bigsby, who is the author of “Summer on the Farm,” was inspired by the character, CJ, to write “The Sack Race.” Bigsby is inspired by the many ideas that she has to continue sharing to bring laughter into her readers’ homes. She hopes her future creative writings will be enjoyed by even more people. She expects some of her books to teach lessons and to groom children in a positive way.
