Miami Gardens author keeps Christmas spirit alive with inspirational play collection in new book
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Author Elisient Maeve Vernon announces the nationwide release of her new book of plays, “Christmas Miracles: A Baby in the Manger and Other Plays.”
A live baby is found in the manger in a small church, bringing about a miraculous change in the lives of many people.
This inspiring tale is just one of six elastic Christmas plays in “Christmas Miracles,” each climaxing in a miraculous display of love, healing, understanding and forgiveness. Small churches that do not have the amenities that large churches have will find these plays easy to produce. They can be stretched to accommodate bigger casts or shrunken to fit fewer casts depending on the particular need of a church.
Published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises, the book is available through bookstores nationwide, from the publisher at www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore, or by visiting barnesandnoble.com or amazon.com.
Vernon worked alongside her pastor husband, Samuel, in small family churches in Panama, the Caribbean, Canada and the USA. She has written several seasonal plays, adapting them to small or large stages to suit each congregation. These plays have not only drawn the actors closer together but have influenced the audiences in positive ways. Vernon now resides with her husband of 62 years in Miami Gardens, Florida.
