Richland Today places the spotlight to Tate author’s first kids’ storybook

Tate author Clifton Dodge shares the inspiration behind his first children’s fiction, “Swampette,” in an article featured in Richland Today.

“Swampette” is a story about a one-week-old baby swamp rabbit who was faced with all the fears that lurked in the vast, dark swampland. This story tells how she would have to learn to overcome the unknown fears in her new life from her adopted family.

“I based it on a baby swamp rabbit that I caught once,” shares Dodge.
