Dorchester author teaches kids about cleanliness in new children’s book
DORCHESTER, Ma. — This week marks the nationwide release of author Paula Guerard’s new children’s book, “Eva Irene, Please Keep Your Room Clean.” The book’s hardback edition will be up for grabs early January.
In “Eva Irene Please Keep Your Room Clean,” Eva’s mother has had it with her messiness. Her siblings, Peter, Ada and Kay, want to help her, but how in the world is she going to learn how to be neat? Guerard works as an executive legal assistant for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. She is also a certified florist and works part-time as a floral designer. She is affiliated with a talent agency in Boston, where she does work in film and print. Guerard was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, where she still resides with her husband, Mark, and her two children, Mark and Patrice.
